However, there now appears to be a new sense of hope the franchise will be able to come up with the lost financing. According to Bleacher Report's Jason Cole, the Raiders have two banks that are willing to help finance the move.
Adelson had pledged $650 million to the project, but the Raiders had planned to cover that - along with the remaining $500 million in the $1.9 billion stadium project - with a loan from Goldman Sachs. The city of Las Vegas has pledged $750 million to the stadium project, and a new bank would be responsible for the $650 million they were originally going to get from Adelson.
