ARLINGTON — Mike Fiers left his start with trainers with two outs in the second inning.
Fiers spoke with trainers earlier in the inning, pointing to his forearm before taking some warm-up pitches. He then gave up a two-run home run to Rougned Odor, his fastball velocity dipped to the mid-80s and he departed after walking Delino DeShields.
Fiers is coming off another short start in Houston in which he gave up nine runs in one inning.
