OAKLAND -- Budding A's fan favorite Ramon Laureano is becoming a lineup mainstay for baseball's hottest team.
The rookie outfielder drew another start in center field Tuesday after belting the first two homers of his big league career in Monday's series-opening win over the Rangers. Laureano had nine hits in his first 12 games since being promoted Aug. 3.
Laureano quickly endeared himself to A's fans with an awe-inspiring arm and overall aggressive, acrobatic defense, then gave them even more to cheer about with an impressive power display Monday.
