Notre Dame football landed one of nation’s top 2021 tight ends on Friday evening in Cane Berrong. The Georgia product was last on campus for an unofficial at the beginning of June for the Irish invasion camp.
He impressed the staff during workouts and clearly the visit had a major impression on him and his family.
Being able to talk and form relationships with the coaches and players was big for Berrong. There was no need to wait any longer to pull the trigger and make it official. He had fallen in love with Notre Dame and wanted to officially be Irish.
