The Big Ten is home to perhaps the two best teams in America: Ohio State and Michigan State. However, there is a team in the Big Ten West laying in the weeds, waiting to pounce that is playing some great physical football.
Don't look now but the Northwestern Wildcats are 3-0 for the first time since 2013. They have played some stingy defense this season but it's time credit is given to their star tailback Justin Jackson.
Last year as a freshman, all Jackson did was rush for 1187 yards and ten touchdowns, which went largely unnoticed because it was the year of the running back in the Big Ten.
