The Northern Iowa wrestling team wrapped up a successful couple of days in Chattanooga, Tennessee, at the 2018 Southern Scuffle. The Panthers, ranked 11th nationally by Trackwrestling, ended up second overall in the team race and seven different wrestlers brought home hardware.
Northern Iowa ultimately scored 127 points, second only to second-ranked Penn State’s 197 (Lehigh finished third with 102; no other team broke 100). The Panthers were led by four finalists in Jay Schwarm (125), Bryce Steiert (165, unattached), Drew Foster (184) and Jacob Holschlag (197).
