Women's Golf finishes in 2nd in Terre Haute

Terre Haute, Indiana - The University of Northern Iowa women's golf team finished as the runner up at the Indiana State Spring Invitational.

The Panthers finished the tournament with a team score of (615), falling just one stroke behind the Loyola Ramblers.

Emily Snelling earned medalist honors as she finished the tournament in 1st place. Snelling lead the tournament with a final score of (147) after finishing 2-under (70) in round one and 5-over (77) in round two. The freshman's excellent performance makes her the first Panther women's golfer to win a tournament outright since Paige Van Dyk won the Whistling Straits Intercollegiate on October 12-13, 2015.
