Without Jeremy Morgan, UNI drops seventh straight in loss at Bradley

PEORIA, Ill. — With its star scorer — well really star everything — relegated to spectator, Northern Iowa’ climb up its current mountain of futility became even steeper Wednesday night.

With senior guard Jeremy Morgan stuck in a walking boot after severely injuring his right ankle in Sunday’s loss to Wichita State, the Panthers’ offensive woes continued against Bradley in emphatic fashion. UNI could never climb out of a deep first-half hole en route to a 72-61 loss at Carver Arena, the Panthers’ seventh straight defeat and fourth in a row by double digits.

Morgan rolled his ankle early in the first half against the Shockers but was able to return for most of the game.
