CEDAR FALLS, Ia. — Locked in another see-sawing Missouri Valley Conference affair, Northern Iowa’s frustrating start to league play marches on.
The Panthers’ offense couldn’t produce any separation despite another strong defensive showing, and Loyola eventually pounced, using a late surge to pull out a 56-50 win Sunday at the McLeod Center. UNI (8-8, 0-4 MVC) has now dropped six straight and owns sole possession of the Valley cellar.
