The University of Northern Iowa department of athletics has announced its March 2018 Student-Athletes of the Month sponsored by Transamerica as voted on by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
This month's honorees are Brette Correy (Epworth, Iowa), Megan Maahs (Epworth, Iowa), Max Thomsen (La Porte City, Iowa) and Sven Van Den Bergh (Blaasveld, Antwerp, Belgium).
Brette Correy - Track and Field
Won two conference crowns at the 2018 MVC Indoor Track and Field Championships, winning in the women's distance medley and the 800-meter races. Correy was also honored with the MVC's Elite 17 Award, becoming the first Panther to win the academic laurel twice for the women.
