NORTH LIBERTY, Ia. — Juwan McCloud isn’t afraid to admit it.
With his plate full of responsibilities shortly after arriving in Cedar Falls, the 5-foot-11 point guard wasn’t afforded a trial run in directing the Northern Iowa offense. McCloud’s freshman season was a seesawing one, loaded up with offensive frustration and learning moments as he tried to find his footing in the Panthers’ starting lineup.
Confidence wavered. McCloud wasn’t happy with the final product.
“I didn’t really like the way my (freshman) year went,” he said after Sunday’s Prime Time League action at the North Liberty Community Center.
