CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – Max Thomsen grabbed national attention winning NCAA's social media poll for best performance with his win over No. 3 Lavion Mayes of Missouri.
He also became the second Panther of the season to earn MAC Wrestler of the Week. Thomsen has had an incredible season so far, but his eyes are narrowed in on the postseason.
"I just keep feeding on the success but I never get too high and just stay steady," said Thomsen. "I never try to get too high on the hill or never get too low in the valley, just keep my eyes on the future.
