University of Northern Iowa head volleyball coach Bobbi Petersen has announced the addition of Haley Brightwell as a volunteer assistant coach for the 2018 season.
"Haley is a promising young coach," Petersen said. "I am really looking forward to working with her and for her involvement with our student athletes and program."
Brightwell is a native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and a high school graduate of Cedar Rapids Kennedy. She began her collegiate volleyball career at Drake University before playing her final three seasons at the University of Missouri – St. Louis. Brightwell served as team captain in 2013 and 2014.
