CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – After a runner-up finish at the Missouri Valley Conference Championship last time out, the Northern Iowa women's cross country team prepares for the NCAA Midwest Regional on Friday in Ames, Iowa.
Friday's 6K will start at 10:45 a.m. CT, as the Panthers seek to better last season's 10th-place finish which marked the highest in program history at a regional meet.
UNI is coming into Friday's NCAA Midwest Regional trending up, after the Panthers turned in a second-place finish at the MVC Championship on Oct. 28, 2017. UNI had five Panthers finish in the top 15, with Tiffany Christensen leading the pack with a ninth-place showing after running a 17:47.
