WATERLOO -- The Northern Iowa women's tennis team snapped an eight-match losing streak to Drake Saturday with a 4-3 victory over the Bulldogs at the Black Hawk Tennis Club.
After Drake won the doubles point by winning all three doubles' matches, UNI took four of the six singles matches, to pull out the win.
A pair of the victories went three sets as Astrid Santos topped Tess Herder, 3-6, 6-3, 7-6 (7-3), while Gisela Kemper topped Kenya Williams 1-6, 7-5, 6-2, at two and three singles, respectively.
