Box Score SPRINGFIELD, MO. - The University of Northern Iowa softball team completed their three series matchup against Missouri State on Sunday to take the series victory 2-1.
The Panthers' (14-11, 2-1 MVC) final game against the Grizzlies (13-11, 1-2 MVC) was taken into eight innings after being tied 2-2 at the end of the seventh.
Missouri State was the first to put a run on the board in the bottom of the second. UNI quickly responded in the top of the third after a sac bunt from Brittney Roby brought in Courtney Krodinger to tie up the game 1-1.
