CEDAR FALLS, Iowa—The University of Northern Iowa women's soccer team fell to No. 13 in the United Soccer Coaches poll.
UNI, who ranked at #12 last week, won an overtime thriller to open MVC play against preseason favorite, Illinois State on Saturday, Sept. 23.
The goal, which came from Brynell Yount, was the fifth goal on the season and moves her to No. 5 on the All-Time career goals list with 11.
The Panthers continue play at home, hosting Evansville on Sept. 30 and Viterbo on Oct. 2. Both matches will take place at the Cedar Valley Soccer Complex.
