CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The Panthers are slated for a rematch against the Southeast Missouri Redhawks on Saturday, at 12:30 p.m. in the UNI-Dome. UNI will also take on South Dakota State later in the evening, at 5:00 p.m., with an opportunity to sweep a doubleheader in consecutive days.
UNI will enter Saturday with a 2-0 record after shutting down the Redhawks and Green Bay Phoenix in the Panthers' season-opening doubleheader. Both UNI pitchers went the distance in their starts, with a combined two earned runs in 14 innings.
The Redhawks will be seeking revenge against the Panthers, after experiencing an offensive implosion at the hands of UNI Pitcher Jaclyn Spencer, on opening day.
