SPRINGFIELD, Missouri – The University of Northern Iowa men's golf team finished up the two-day of the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate tournament with the program's best three-day round total this year.
The Panthers tallied round scores of 296-291-295, for a total of 882 (+30) in the event hosted by Missouri State.
The third round was delayed due to weather and the times changed to a shotgun start.
Leading the team was junior Sam DeBartolo who tied for fifth overall. He had round scores of 71-74-71, totaling 216 (+3) as well. He had 10 birdies with four coming in the second round.
