CEDAR FALLS, Ia. — All weekend and even into Monday, Tanya Warren continued to campaign that — one way or another — her Northern Iowa squad was an NCAA Tournament team.
“Absolutely,” Warren said after Sunday’s 74-69 overtime loss to Drake in the MVC title game. “When you look at our strength of schedule, you look at our RPI and you look at the fact that we have two top-25 (RPI) wins, there’s no question in my mind — we should be in the NCAA Tournament.”
