DES MOINES, Ia. — There’s trust in the cavalry behind Northern Iowa’s senior frontcourt, but the task becomes all the more daunting when the senior forwards don’t show up.
No game illustrated just that more clearly than Saturday’s Hy-Vee Classic showdown against Iowa State, in which UNI hung tough at the Cyclones’ hip for the better part of 30 minutes despite receiving very little from Bennett Koch and Klint Carlson.
