Box Score LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Northern Iowa softball team completed day one of the Louisville Tournament in Louisville, Kentucky on Friday with a 1-1 record.
Jaci Spencer was the Panthers (11-9) starting pitcher for UNI's first game of the day against Ohio University (13-4). Spencer held the Bobcats to zero runs and only one hit in the 8-0 Panther victory.
With bases loaded with the first three batters up to the plate in the bottom of the second for the Panthers, Spencer was able to get a walk in run for Alyssa Buchanan, against Ohio pitcher Danielle Stiene, for the first run of the game.
