BROOKINGS, South Dakota – The University of Northern Iowa track and field program concluded day one action from the SDSU Indoor Classic, with eight Panthers grabbing Top-5 finishes.
The trio of Tiffany Christensen, McKayla Cole and Ashley Norem impressed the most in Brookings, with Christensen (9:53.29) winning the 3000-meter while Cole (9:55.37) finished and Norem (10:03.13) placed fifth. Kassidy Sharp (5-06.50) finished runner-up in the high jump to lead the field athletes, with Anna Hoyman (47-03.00) coming in fifth in the weight throw.
