KANSAS CITY, Missouri - The University of Northern Iowa volleyball team saw its three-match win streak snapped by the UMKC Kangaroos on Saturday at the Kangaroo Klassic.
UMKC won by set scores of 25-18, 16-25, 25-22, 25-23. UNI drops to 7-3 overall.
The Kangaroos enjoyed a 12-2 advantage in blocks over the Panthers.
UNI's Bri Weber collected a double-double with 13 kills and 20 digs. Heather Hook also registered a double-double with 41 assists and 14 digs. Piper Thomas led UNI with 14 kills and a .265 hitting percentage.
NOTES: UNI's Kendyl Sorge and Bri Weber were named to the Kangaroo Klassic All-Tournament Team.
