CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - The Wichita State Shockers won their sixth straight game and gave the University of Northern Iowa Panthers their sixth consecutive loss on Sunday in the McLeod Center, 80-66.
The Shockers (14-3, 4-0 MVC) got 17 points from Landry Shamet and a pair of players scored double-figures off the bench in Rauno Nurger (13 points) and Conner Frankamp (11 points). The Shockers enjoyed a 38-17 scoring advantage in bench points.
The Panthers (5-10, 0-4 MVC) saw Jeremy Morgan top the scoring ledger with 15 points on 5-of-11 shooting from the floor.
