CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – University of Northern Iowa head football coach Mark Farley announced the hiring of Aairon Savage on Wednesday, filling the position of defensive backs coach for the Panthers.
Savage joins the UNI football staff after spending the past season at Army West Point as the defensive quality control coach. Savage brings a wide range of experience to Cedar Falls, after making stops at Arkansas Tech (2015-16), Georgia Tech (2014), Valdosta High School (2013) and Auburn (2011-2012).
During his time at West Point, the Black Knights finished the season with 10 wins for only the second time in school history and won eight of their final nine games of the season to reach the milestone.
