LAWRENCE, Kansas—The University of Northern Iowa women's swimming and diving team finished in fourth place at the Kansas Classic today.
Sophomore Katie Taylor was named the Kansas Classic Most Valuable Swimmer. Taylor tied her record in the 200 backstroke, swimming into first-place with a time of one minute, fifty-seven seconds and 20 milliseconds.
Taylor would be joined by Crystal Florman, Abby Meyer and Molly Lembezeder in the 400 freestyle relay, earning first-place with a time of 3:24.35.
Florman would take first in the 100 freestyle, timing in at 49.
