VERMILLION, South Dakota---The University of Northern Iowa women's swimming and diving team won 12 of 16 events against South Dakota, with a final score of 178-122.
The Panthers team of Katie Taylor, Moriah Ross, Crystal Florman and Molly Lembezeder swam to a first-place finish in the 200 medley relay, timing in at one minute, fifty seven seconds and 22 hundredths.
Taylor broke the South Dakota pool record in the 200 backstroke, swimming in at 2:14.87. Taylor edged out Sabrina Sabadeanu of South Dakota in the 100 backstroke, timing in at 1:02.
