Panthers Fall to Shockers, 7-0

WATERLOO, Iowa—The University of Northern Iowa women's tennis team fell in action today to Wichita State, 7-0.

Jieke Stroobant played all three sets in the No. 1 spot against Gabriela Porubin of Wichita State. Porubin took the first set before Stroobant came back in the second to create a tie-breaker. Porubin won the tie-breaker, 10-6.

Astrid Santos played in the No. 2 spot, falling to Tanaporn Thongsing, 6-3, 6-0. Gisela Kemper would be defeated by Fatima Bizhukova, 6-0, 6-2. Sydney Wolfe competed against Ting-Ya Hsu in the No.
