CEDAR FALLS, Iowa—The University of Northern Iowa women's volleyball (2-3) was unable to overcome an early Washington State Cougars (3-0) lead.
The Cougars opened the first set with six unanswered points before had her first kill of the match. The Panthers were unable to overcome the six-point lead in the first set as the Cougars won the first set 25-23.
The second set opened in a similar fashion for the Cougars until had a service ace to tie the set at 12. The Panthers earned the next point on an attack error by Washington State.
