Four Northern Iowa offensive players have been named to the Missouri Valley Conference's preseason offensive teams, led by first-team selection Briley Moore.
A junior tight end from Missouri, Moore hauled in 38 passes for 494 yards in 13 games last season. His reception total was the most posted by a UNI tight end in a decade.
Senior running back Marcus Weymiller has been named a second team preseason MVFC pick. After battling injuries in the early part of the 2017 season, the former Waukon standout carried the ball 200 times for 809 yards and eight touchdowns, including an FCS-best 42 carries in a single game against South Dakota State.
