University of Northern Iowa junior women's golfer Sarah McMichael has been named to the Missouri Valley Conference's Women's Golf Scholar-Athlete squad as an honorable mention selection.
McMichael (Nashua, Iowa/Nashua-Plainfield HS) has maintained a 3.79 cumulative grade point average with a biology major. McMichael made seven starts for the Panthers and had a 78.04 stroke average in 24 rounds in 2017-18.
She shot a season-best 74 in the third round of the ORU/SFA Spring Break Shootout. She tied that season-best 74 in the second round of the MVC Championship meet held at Sand Creek Station in Newman, Kansas.
