The 2017 NCAA Women’s Volleyball selection show was held Sunday night with two Iowa universities receiving invitations for the national tournament.
Iowa State was named the 14 seed and will play the Ivy League’s Princeton University. The first-round match will be held at home in Hilton Coliseum on Friday, at 7 p.m.
The match marks the 13th consecutive tournament appearance for the Cyclones under head coach Johnson-Lynch, as the team seeks redemption after being swept by Purdue in the first round of the 2016 tourney.
