Farley Named STATS Preseason All-American

University of Northern Iowa senior linebacker Jared Farley has been named a STATS Preseason All-American.

Farley garnered a team-high 80 tackles in 2016 and was named to the all-MVFC second team. Farley also tallied 3.5 tackles-for-loss, two fumble recoveries and a quarterback sack. Earlier this summer, Farley also earned a spot on the preseason All-Missouri Valley Football Conference squad.

The Panthers will open the 2017 season Sept. 2 at Iowa State at 7 p.m.
