DES MOINES, Iowa - The Drake Bulldogs won their seventh straight match with a 2-1 triumph over the University of Northern Iowa women's soccer team in Wednesday at Cownie Stadium.
The Bulldogs (10-3-1, 3-0 MVC) opened up a two-goal advantage early in the second half over the visiting Panthers (10-3-1, 2-2 MVC).
UNI scored with 2:02 left in the match on a corner kick. Jenny Wick found the back of the net on a pass from Hannah McDevitt, but the Panthers could not get the equalizer against the Bulldogs.
