It's no secret that senior Daurice Fountain plays a key role in the Panthers offense. This season he has been a nightmare for opposing defenses and has elevated his game to an elite status for UNI out wide.
The 6-foot-1 wide receiver has already made a statement on the field this year, racking up 32 catches for 452 yards and four touchdowns. He's also turned in three-consecutive games with over 100-yards receiving, which is the most for any Panther since Eddie Berlin had six-straight in 2000. Fountain has worked extremely hard to earn that elite status at wide receiver, and his hard work has not gone unnoticed.
