The University of Northern Iowa women's track and field squad has landed another pair of weekly honors from the Missouri Valley Conference.
Senior Sarah Pate (Osceola, Iowa/Clarke Community HS) has earned her third MVC Field Athlete of the Week award. Pate took home first-place honors in the hammer throw with a heave of 205'0" at the Wisconsin Twilight. Pate currently ranks No. 14 in the NCAA West Region and ranks as the best in the Missouri Valley Conference heading into the conference meet this week. Pate also ranks No. 6 in the MVC in this discus.
