CEDAR FALLS -- Northern Iowa's football team has made its run through the gauntlet -- four Top 10 opponents in four weeks -- yet the Panthers still feel they are inside it.
In other words, two days after knocking off sixth-ranked South Dakota, the message inside the UNI-Dome is that UNI's guard remains up in advance of a Saturday trip to Missouri State.
"We still have to win. We control everything," linebacker Duncan Ferch said Monday during UNI's weekly press conference. "You take it one game at a time. Missouri State just came off a win over Southern Illinois, so they are pretty good.
