College football: UNI expects better ISU team this time

If there is any chance the Panthers want to replicate that result Saturday when they face the Cyclones at Jack Trice Stadium, they will have to play better.

In 2016, UNI caught ISU still figuring out how then first-year head coach Matt Campbell wanted his team to operate. That won't be the case at 7 p.m. Saturday.

UNI players celebrate their 25-20 victory over Iowa State last Sept. 3 in Ames. The Panthers will look to grab another upset when the teams meet this Saturday.

"They grew as a football team last year throughout the football season," UNI head coach Mark Farley said.
