College football: No. 20 UNI rolling; leads Monmouth, 33-0, at half

CEDAR FALLS -- Eli Dunne showed little rest after missing the last game and half throwing for 242 yards and four touchdowns as No. 20 Northern Iowa leads Monmouth, 33-0, at halftime in a first-round FCS playoff game at the UNI-Dome.

The Panthers (7-4) picked off the Hawks' Kenji Bahar three times, including on the second play of the game, and UNI's offense had its way with Monmouth (9-2).

Dunne, who had missed the Panthers' last seven quarters of action, was 15 of 22, hitting Daurice Fountain eight times for 127 yards and two scores.

Isaiah Weston hauled in a 16-yard pass to put UNI up 7-0 just 2 minutes and 39 seconds in and the Panthers were never really threatened.
