COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Senior Brandon Carnes wrapped up an outstanding indoor season today at the NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships, earning second-team All-America honors.
Carnes competed in the 60 meter dash in College Station, running a time of 6.66. Unfortunately for the senior, he did not qualify for tomorrow's final. The senior earned his second-career indoor All-America honor, ending an indoor season to remember.
The Bradenton, Fla., native broke records and made history this season as a Panther and decorated athlete in the Missouri Valley Conference.
He started the season by blasting the MVC and school record in the 60 meter dash in January, running a time of 6.
