FAYETTEVILLE – Senior Brandon Carnes posted a personal-best in the men's 200 meter dash at the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark. today, securing his second UNI record of the season.
The Bradenton, Fla., native ran a time of 21.03 in the 200 meter dash finals, finishing tied for fourth overall. His career-best time beat his previous PR of 21.30 and beat the school record time of 21.15 that was set by Dirk Homewood in 2003. Carnes now holds the 60 meters and indoor 200 meter dash records at Northern Iowa.
Carnes also finished fourth in the 60 meter dash while at Arkansas, running a time of 6.
