2017 MVC Men's Golf Scholar-Athlete Team
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - University of Northern Iowa senior Dustin Atkinson (Ames, Iowa) has been named to the Missouri Valley Conference's men's golf scholar-athlete team. Atkinson is majoring in supply chain management with a 3.22 cumulative grade point average.
He entered the 2017 MVC Championship ranked No. 21 in the conference. He started in all eight of UNI's golf tournaments with a stroke average of 75.08. Of the 24 rounds he competed in, he had 20 rounds in the 70s and two in the 60s. His best performance was at the Derek Dolenc Intercollegiate (Sept.
