INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – University of Northern Iowa senior guard Angie Davison has been named to the 2017 Allstate WBCA Good Works Team, it was announced today by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association.
The Good Works Team is an award that shines light on student-athletes for the things they accomplish off the court. The team is comprised of 10 student-athletes, five from NCAA Division I, and five from NCAA Divisions II, III and NAIA.
Davison was chosen by sports information directors and coaches at colleges and universities across the country. There were a record 97 nominations, eventually narrowed down to the final 10 players by voting panels led by former WNBA star Skylar Diggins.
