I don’t even know where to begin with my complaints about everything that went wrong in the Tar Heels’ ugly 45-22 loss to Georgia Tech in Atlanta. Things started off well enough for Carolina when Sam Howell trucked defenders to stroll into the end zone for the game’s first points. From there, it all went downhill.
Howell was sacked five times in the first half and three times in the second half. Carolina’s usually sure-handed quarterback was unusually off against the Yellow Jackets, as he fumbled the ball and lost it three times. Georgia Tech scored 20 points off those three turnovers.
