CHAPEL HILL— scored a season-high 20 points and added 18 as North Carolina defeated Wake Forest, 80-73, on Wednesday night in the Smith Center.
Carolina improved to 9-5 this season, 4-3 in the ACC. Wake Forest fell to 3-6, 0-6.
The Tar Heels will return to action on Saturday at 2 p.m. against North Carolina State.
