The NC State Wolfpack erupted for 5 runs in the second to cruise to a 10-4 victory over the Indiana State Sycamores on Saturday afternoon in Puerto Rico.
The Wolfpack (now 2-0) wasted little time, jumping ahead in the bottom of the first when Dalton Bargo crushed a solo home run to deep right field off Sycamores starter Breylin Suriel.
This was Bargo’s (a Tennessee transfer) second homer in as many games.
Don’t look now, but @NCStateBaseball is up 7-0 in the 4th vs. Indiana St.
It’s now 11 consecutive innings of scoreless baseball to start the season.
