We're in the dog days of the offseason, but they are rapidly coming to an end as players report to their team training facilities, and rookie camps and tournaments get underway. Guys are back on the ice in anticipation of the 2021-22 NHL season.
The NHL is hoping to make it through an entire season without rescheduling too many games and mitigating the spread of COVID-19. Thursday morning at the NHL media tour in Chicago, deputy commissioner Bill Daly told reporters he expects to start the season with 15 or fewer unvaccinated players and a 98 percent vaccination rate.
