NFL franchise tag tracker for 2020: 14 players who could get long-term contracts

The deadline for teams to sign franchise-tagged players to extensions is Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET, and 14 players still are awaiting new deals, including Dak Prescott and Derrick Henry. If the players do not agree to new contracts, they will play this season on the tag.

Only three players have not signed their franchise tenders: Yannick Ngakoue, Chris Jones and A.J. Green. Franchise tag figures are based upon the top five salaries at each position.

Here's a look at the 14 players who were tagged -- listed alphabetically -- along with why the teams made the decision to tag them and their current salaries for the 2020 season:
