Buying or Selling Each 1st-Round Rookie as a Day 1 Starter

Front offices generally project first-round rookies as immediate impact assets or the players who will change the franchise's trajectory. Ideally, it's a search for Day 1 starters, though it's a little different for quarterbacks who need development.

Edge-rushers, offensive linemen and coveted first-rounders at other positions also face pressure, especially when teams trade up and surrender multiple picks to acquire them.
